Leadership
Jeff Hughes
As Managing Director of Metro-Insight, Jeff helps clients better understand customer and market dynamics, and leads them in developing strategies that put them on new paths to growth. He oversees the company’s market research, data analysis, strategy, data visualization and content development practices.
Jeff served for 13 years as Managing Director for Hawkeye | Mosaic Marketing, overseeing direct marketing, simplified communication and marketing strategy initiatives for major US banks and brokerage firms. Before that, he was Vice President and General Manager of Integrated Marketing at Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications. Jeff began his career at M&T Bank, serving in several marketing and product management roles. He has served as Board Chair for Trocaire College and President of the Batavia Development Corporation.
Tony Diina
Tony is a graduate of Canisius College, where he earned both a BA degree and an MBA in Marketing and Quantitative Methods. He has held a variety of executive marketing and management positions at Empire of America, M&T Bank, and HSBC, and has been CEO for a number of companies.
Tony has also taught marketing and policy at Canisius College and for the American Marketing Association. He is the author of Basics of Bank Marketing Research and has been published in the Journal of Advertising Research. Tony is a past president of the Western New York American Marketing Association and the Institute of Management Science. He has received the Canisius College Outstanding MBA Alumni Bernard M. Martin Award and the Father Thomas Fleming Award.
